Day 1 - Belfast Harbor Ice

Day 1 - 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge.

Happy New Year!

Today is the first day of Leslie Saeta's January 2016 Challenge of 30 paintings in 30 days.  Today we will also find out the destination of our January Virtual Paint-Out. I hope to incorporate the Paint-Out in the Challenge!


Belfast Harbor Ice 6x8, oil SOLD

This painting is from a photo that I took a few years ago. On my way to the gallery in Belfast, I took the road by the harbor. It was a cold morning and I could see that ice had formed overnight. The sailboats, in their winter coverings, are now frozen in.
